Influenza activity has increased across the country, and group settings of young children and elderly populations are among the most vulnerable to influenza. Prevention and control of influenza outbreaks in long term care settings is critical to protecting this vulnerable group from influenza.

The Florida Department of Health is hosting webinar to discuss influenza prevention and control in long term care facilities with the State Epidemiologist and subject matter experts on influenza activity. Department representatives will be present to answer questions.
