12-Hour Online Refresher Course
Administrators, managers and key staff will benefit from participating in the new 12-hour comprehensive Online Refresher Course. This course includes a complete review of crucial areas of assisted living regulation and operations throughout Florida. The course is fully up-to-date and incorporates the latest regulatory changes.
The content areas covered in the course include:
- Residency criteria;
- Resident care standards;
- Admission procedures;
- Medication practices;
- Food and nutrition;
- Resident rights;
- Limited nursing services; and
- Emergency environmental control requirements.
The course includes downloadable course materials, module quizzes, and email support. The updated PDF version of the 530-page Core training manual is also available for purchase.
Please note: All sales are final. Substitutions may be made prior to the start of the course. Once a course has started, there will be no substitutions or refunds of any kind.
Access the online refresher course on a computer or through the mobile app to train anywhere, any time. The mobile app allows you the flexibility to resume any courses started on a desktop, and you can download the course to complete when you are offline and sync it when you are back online.
You will have 60 days to complete the course.
Once the course is completed, participants will receive a certificate of completion and will receive 12-hours of continuing education credits. The training hours may be used to comply with continuing education requirements for Assisted Living administrators and managers. Florida Senior Living Association also provides continuing education credits through CE Broker for licensed nurses and nursing home administrators.
